ASM achieves this by offering high-quality, out-of-school time programming in the Arts, Communications & Leadership, Sports, and STEM. Founded in 1991 as Gallery37 and later incorporated in 2000 as After School Matters, the organization was originally created to bring paid summer arts programming to underserved Chicago teens in the city’s downtown Loop area.

The mission of Mercy Ships is to increase healthcare delivery through the deployment of the world’s largest hospital ships: the Global Mercy and the Africa Mercy. This international faith-based organization works with host nations to deliver transformative, life-saving healthcare and health services, while serving as a training platform for healthcare professionals (surgeons, nurses, providers, administrators, and technicians). Restore The Mississippi River Delta
The Mississippi River Delta formed over thousands of years as North America’s mightiest river deposited sand, silt and clay into the warm waters of the northern Gulf of Mexico. Over the last few hundred years, human alterations of the river system have contributed to the delta’s collapse. Since the 1930s, Louisiana has lost about 1,900 square miles of land that have disappeared into open water. Recent catastrophes, such as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the BP oil disaster, exacerbated our coastal crisis. As the delta disappears, so does the natural protection it provides people. Restore The Mississippi River Delta exists to correct the damage
ACLU of Louisiana
During a period of transformation for ACLU Louisiana, The Revivalists have played a crucial role as dedicated advocates and supporters. Originating in New Orleans, LA, they have been instrumental in propelling our movement for justice in their home state. The band has effectively mobilized individuals, fostering a network of changemakers committed to making a positive impact in four key areas for ACLU Louisiana. These areas include strengthening Louisiana communities by challenging racially discriminatory policing practices, advocating for the closure of immigrant detention centers across the state, championing the universal right to vote, and reimagining the criminal legal system to better serve marginalized communities. ACLU Louisiana is profoundly thankful to have the Revivalists as valued members of our supporter community and looks forward to our accomplishing more in the years ahead—together.
